002. Show work and outcomes, never vanity statistics
Status
Accepted (2026-10-11)
Context
Activity counts do not explain whether a tool helped anyone or whether a technical choice was sound. A personal website should let readers understand the work and judge its value.
Decision
Show what Dominic built, why he built it and what changed. Use concrete problems, choices, stories and demonstrations. Never present token, skill, experiment, agent or other activity counts as evidence of ability.
Consequences
- Project content focuses on the problem, approach and practical result.
- Copy and visual design must not introduce activity counters or vanity badges.
- Useful evidence can include a demonstration or an explained outcome; a count alone is not a substitute for either.
